Rastafari in Motion: Curating the Movement

Co-curators Ras Shango and Dr. Robert Gillingham gives us an exclusive background into the making of Rastafari in Motion as they offer a unique insight into their innovative approach, which aims to capture the raw, holistic, and rooted experience of Rastafari movement in the Britain.

Join us as they unravel the journey behind this travelling exhibition created by Rastafari Regal Livity, which in its infancy has featured at the National Museum of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa in 2014, and how it has evolved to become one of the most expansive exhibition on the Rastafari movement in Britain.

Immerse yourself in a sensory experience of “Rastafari in Motion”, as highly skilled spoken word artist Nat Nye and singer and dancer Stella B bring this history to life with animated provocations and poetic responses to the powerful narratives explored in this exhibition.

Friday 5 August June, 12.00pm-5.00pm

Tickets are £10
