Our approach to Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (IDE)
We celebrate individuality and embrace everyone for who they are. Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity are central to our people strategy, and we strive to create a culture where everyone feels welcome, valued, and a sense of belonging as part of our ‘Everyone’s Welcome’ philosophy.
In GB, we want everyone to ‘be themselves, be valued and belong’ and our Just Be Network – made up from passionate CCEP employees – are always there to promote inclusion, diversity and equity across our workplace. From running events such as Black History Month, to Pride, to International Women’s Day and everything in between it really makes a difference to our colleagues. You can hear what some of our ambassadors have to say here: [JustBe Video]
We also have a great informal network known as The Black Experience (TBE), a safe space for Black colleagues across the business to connect, share career successes, raise concerns and share feedback on how we as a business can continue to support our Black colleagues and ensure a sense of belonging at work.
Black History Month 2024
Throughout Black History Month this October, we have an exciting programme built on the fundamentals of Education, Celebration, Allyship and Contribution.
Our programme will include focus on supporting and growing our internal Black talent with a dedicated Career Pathways & Development workshop, an new external partnership with the Black Talent Awards and celebrating Black culture across our sites and offices. We are looking forward to welcoming the SipNStroke Creative Painting Team back to CCEP for an evening of group fun, music and networking and finally finishing off the month with some group volunteering – an opportunity to give back to local Black communities using one of our 2 company-provided volunteering days.
Black History Month presents a good opportunity to reflect on our commitments, progress and put positive actions front of mind not only throughout October but all year around.

Meet one of our Early Careers Graduates, Jasmine Okonkwo
Jasmine is one of our Early Careers Graduates and joined CCEP on the Supply Chain Graduate programme in September 2021, after completing her degree in International Business at the University of Portsmouth in July 2021. Have a read to hear about what inspired her academic path and about the university experiences that made her – including travelling abroad. She also talks passionately about the post-graduate career plans that led her to Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and a thrilling four-year graduate programme.
Question: How did you choose your degree?
It was honestly by going to open days at a range of universities that helped me pick my course. I wanted to find out how businesses communicate and work with each other around the world. I applied – and I was accepted – to study International Business (BA Hons) at the University of Portsmouth because I was keen to enter the world of business and have the opportunity to travel.
Question: What was the most meaningful university experience you had?
My most meaningful university experience was studying at San Jose State University in California. My time abroad taught me that language matters and that even if you speak the same language, there are still so many differences in the use of terminology, as well as approaches to business.
Question: When you think about your time in university, what course impacted you the most?
One of the modules at university was on business operations, which made me realise how much I relate to distribution and supply chain management. After I completed my degree in July 2021, I began searching for graduate opportunities in this sector, which led me to Coca-Cola’s Europacific Partner’s four-year graduate programme.
Question: What was the application process like for being accepted into the programme?
I filled out an application, and once it was accepted, I was invited to complete a series of online interview questions. My last step in the process was a face-to-face interview an Assessment Centre, and about a week later, I was offered a position in the four-year graduate programme at CCEP.
Question: When did you join the programme and how has your experience been?
I joined the Coca-Cola Europacific Partner’s four-year graduate programme in September 2021, and I’ve been loving it ever since. Everyone at the company is genuinely about the people; I’ve felt that from the first day I started. The four-year programme includes rotations around the whole organisation, so I’ve been able to gain a deeper understanding of the business and feel a part of the fabric as I have grown during my time here..
Question: Do you have any advice that you’d like to share with university students?
Self-belief is everything. You and only you need to believe in yourself. It’s easier said than done, but once you have that self-belief, you’ll start to do things that are unimaginable. Also, you are never too young to network. Keep on build that connection with people no matter where in life you are. You never know who you might bump into in the future
Question: What have you enjoyed the most so far working at CCEP?
The people I have met. My network has grown exponentially since working at CCEP and I have built a web of people that I trust and can ask for help and wouldn’t get no as answer. I’ve got people in each corner of the business I can rely on and knowing this, makes me feel acknowledged and supported in every aspect.
