At University of Gloucestershire, we support ambition in all its forms. We want our staff and students to achieve all they can, gaining the confidence and drive to succeed.
That’s why we’re the top comprehensive university and we’re ranked 2nd globally for employment and careers support**.
Our very first campus opened its doors in 1847, and its ivy-clad walls are now host to high-tech labs and architecture studios. The University has three stunning campuses across the beautiful spa town of Cheltenham and historic cathedral city of Gloucester. Each has its own green spaces and state-of-the-art facilities, including an international-standard Sports Arena, fully equipped Media centre and an £18million Business School with trading rooms, moot court room and consumer behaviour lab.
We are home to a vibrant community of over 10,000 students and staff from 60+ countries. We offer a welcoming and professional environment, to fulfil your personal and professional goals. This is the place to learn, grow, and make lasting connections.
Our student body is increasingly diverse, and we are committed to building a staff community that will act as positive role models for them. We understand that diversity does not in itself create inclusion. Our ‘Belonging‘ Strategy, fosters an environment where staff and students feel their authentic self is valued and respected, where everyone feels empowered to share and learn about each other’s culture, heritage, and identities.
Our focus on individuality directs our attention to removing barriers and taking positive actions. We understand our culture is communicated through our behaviours so create spaces for difficult and uncomfortable conversations that educate and challenge in a supportive manner.
We are proud to be a Disability Confident Leader, a community partner of Cheltenham Pride and recognised as an ‘Inclusive Employer’ by Inclusivity Works
Whether you are lecturer, finance professional or looking to get into higher education, we want to hear from you.
