2017 marks the 30 Anniversary of Black History Month (BHM) nationally in the UK. Lost Legends is an exhibition that celebrates the contributions of Leicester’s African and African Caribbean community to the cultural heritage of the UK over the last three decades. Lost Legends is an exhibition showcasing local connections and their contribution to BHM, animated with a oral history archive, a publication 30 Years 30 Voices and a short film Lost Legends, BHM Remembered produced to accompany the exhibition.
