22 June 2018 commemorates the 70th anniversary of the Arrival of the MV Empire Windrush at Tilbury Docks, Essex, bringing more than 500 Caribbean migrants to the UK. For them it was the beginning of their contributions to help rebuild the country after WWII; also, it marked a new cultural dawn for Britain.
