Passionate and incendiary, concerts from the prodigiously-talented Japanese pianist take the notion of an acoustic trio into entirely new territory – a roller-coaster ride of musical pyrotechnics that veers between breath-taking displays of flat-out swing to the power of hi-energy rock.
A mesmerizing instrumentalist in her own right, Hiromi enlists the aid of two equally formidable players for this trio, the massively experienced rhythm team of bassist Anthony Jackson (Steely Dan, Chick Corea) and drummer Simon Phillips (The Who, Jack Bruce).
Having packed Cadogan Hall on three consecutive nights on her last shows in the UK, don’t miss out on what promises to be an electrifying night at the Royal Festival Hall.
