A sonic reflection on Windrush with Dubmorphology

Friday 27 October

Black Industrial Sound artists Trevor Mathison and Gary Stewart collaborate to weave black histories into an ambient score.

Dubmorphology return to Beaconsfield for Black History Month, to weave black histories into a specially commissioned installation, that will employ every aspect of the venue as a player in an immersive ambient score.

Black Industrial Sound artists Trevor Mathison and Gary Stewart work in collaboration as the production and performance group Dubmorphology. Mathison was a founder, composer, sound designer and audio recordist of the internationally renowned cine-cultural artist group, The Black Audio Film Collective (1982-1995) and formed Dubmorphology with fellow media artist, Gary Stewart (2003–present). As Dubmorphology they explore social and political issues of identity, culture, and technology.

The sonic installation, bar and snacks (featuring Black History G&T)will be available from 19:30 hrs, with a special live performance at 20.45 hrs.
