Panomundo Part 2 is the second section of the two-part documentary that explores the history of the steelpan and its global influence. Panomundo Part 1: The Evolution of the Steelpan introduced how the steelpan became an integral part of Trinidad and Tobago society, gaining international attention at the Festival of Britain in 1951. Part 2 highlights the impact the instrument has in Canada, Japan, Nigeria, Switzerland, United States and United Kingdom. This 50-minute documentary includes interviews from Earl La Pierre, Sr., Russell Henderson, Cliff Alexis, Michael “Mannish” Robinson, Lennox “Boogsie” Sharp, and Chief Bowie S. Bowei, to name a few.
