‘Unapologetically Me’ will screen Kaye Sotomi’s powerful film on the complex relationship we have with our hair, exposing the bias of beauty standards and their professional impact on self-identity. There will also be music, networking and a panel discussion.

 

FREE event, streaming a powerful and thought-provoking film produced by Kaye Sotomi that dives deep into the complex relationship we have with our hair, exposing the bias of beauty standards and their professional impact on self-identity.

The Film ‘Unapologetically Me’ features TV personalities and creatives like America Foster and Sports Presenter Jordan Jarrett Bryan.

The event will include music, networking and a panel discussion linking the 2025 Black History Season theme ‘Standing Firm in Power and Pride’.
