This entertaining family event invites audiences to reimagine well-known fairy tale characters, exploring what might have happened after their “happily ever after.” Through live readings and illustration, the event brings a playful and imaginative twist to familiar stories, revealing unexpected perspectives on characters such as the Big Bad Wolf and Rapunzel.
Designed for children aged 8 and over and their families, the session combines storytelling, humour and live drawing to create an engaging and interactive experience. The event forms part of the British Library’s wider Fairy Tales programme, which celebrates the history and evolution of storytelling across cultures.
