Windrush Festival returns to Beckton Park for a full day of music, culture and community celebration marking Windrush Day 2026.
Organised by Radiate Festival, this large-scale outdoor event brings together people of all ages to celebrate Caribbean heritage and the legacy of the Windrush generation. Running from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, the festival offers an open and inclusive space for families, friends and visitors to come together.
The programme features live music, DJs and cultural performances, alongside food vendors serving Caribbean and international cuisine. Visitors can also explore arts and craft stalls, community spaces and interactive activities that highlight the richness of Caribbean culture and its influence on British society.
As a grassroots, Black-led cultural event, the festival places strong emphasis on community, heritage and creative expression. It reflects both the historical significance of the Windrush generation and the ongoing contributions of Caribbean communities across the UK.
