Aurie Styla returns to Leicester with Maverick, his brand-new stand-up show following his acclaimed 100-plus date international The Aurator Tour. One of Britain’s most naturally charismatic comedians, Aurie combines sharp observational humour, engaging storytelling and infectious energy in a show that explores the unexpected twists and turns of modern life.
In Maverick, Aurie reflects on life after the success of his previous tour, discovering that even when everything appears to be going well, there is always something capable of tipping the balance. From work-life pressures and family expectations to relationships, health and everyday challenges, he delivers a hilarious and honest performance packed with warmth, wit and insight.
Aurie has become one of the UK’s most recognisable comedy performers, with television appearances including Richard Osman’s House of Games, Comedy Central Live, Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club, Don’t Hate The Playaz and The Stand-Up Sketch Show. He also hosts the BBC Radio 4 series Tech Talk and, following his selection as a New Face of Comedy at Montreal’s prestigious Just For Laughs festival in 2025, made his debut at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles in 2026.
