Celebrate Black History Month and the 150th anniversary of the Mothers’ Union with an evening of culture, conversation, fashion, art and community.
The event will explore culturally important topics including traditional dress, customs and community celebrations.
Guests taking part in the evening and its panel discussions will include Regent Adeola Okarevu and Ghanaian Queen Mothers, including Nana Ama Adukorwah II.
Visitors will also hear directly from people who have successfully received compensation through the Windrush Compensation Scheme, who will share their experiences.
Members of the Windrush Team will be available at the hall from 4.00pm to provide individual support with compensation applications and answer general enquiries.
The Black History Month celebration will feature a range of vendors, including Mobay Juice, alongside cultural art and poetry from Olamide Apata and others.
Fashion lovers can enjoy a show by Afroganza, with clothing also available to purchase.
Light refreshments will be provided.
