Honouring Our Communities: Celebrating Black Bristol

Celebrate the people shaping Black community identity, wellbeing, culture and leadership across Bristol and the South West.

 

Inspired by the 2026 Black History Month theme, Honouring Our Communities, this special panel discussion will recognise the people whose work, leadership and creativity are making a difference across the region.

The conversation is presented in collaboration with UWE Bristol’s Equity programme and will be hosted by Stacey Olika, Creative Equity Project Manager at Channel 4 and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe honouree.

Guests can attend the event in person at Watershed or join live online. Registered attendees will receive information explaining how to access the event a few days beforehand.

A recording is also expected to be made available after the event. Details will be shared through the event webpage and UWE Bristol’s mailing list.
