Fashion, independent business and music come together for a special late-night shopping experience featuring live vinyl selections of reggae, roots, dancehall, ska and hip-hop.
Presented by Ital Roots in collaboration with Hide n Chic, this special Back a Yard event invites visitors to explore the Leeds flagship leather boutique after hours.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet the store owner, discover the Autumn/Winter 2026 collection and discuss leather clothing, accessories, bespoke pieces and future orders.
The evening will feature four hours of music inspired by Jamaica, the UK, the USA and beyond, with live vinyl selections covering reggae, roots, dancehall, ska and hip-hop.
The event is hosted by Nattylyn Maddix-Butler, also known as DJ Natty Bongo Congo I, alongside guest selectors. The collaboration also celebrates and supports women working in music.
The evening is suitable for fashion and music lovers, influencers, photographers, university and college students, and anyone looking for a different late-night shopping experience in Leeds.
Carefully curated goody bags will be presented to the first 25 customers attending on the night.
The event begins promptly at 7pm. Visitors can wait in Thornton’s Arcade from 6.45pm.
Food and refreshments can be purchased from other businesses in and around Thornton’s Arcade, subject to their individual opening times. Food and drinks cannot be taken inside the store but may be consumed in the external arcade area.
Please note that alcohol is not permitted inside the store.
A pay-what-you-feel cash contribution can also be made directly to the event host on the night.
