Celebrate Black History Month with Music, Dress-Up and Family Fun
Children and families are invited to celebrate Black History Month with a fun-filled fancy dress party inspired by African and Caribbean culture, Black history, music and creativity.
Taking place at Life2020 in Bristol, the event offers families an enjoyable and educational evening where children can dress up, dance, play games and celebrate Black culture together.
Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite Black history figure, fictional character, sports personality or musician.
Adults are welcome to dress up too if they wish.
A Fun and Educational Cultural Experience
The Black History Month Children’s Fancy Dress Party has been created as a positive cultural experience for children and their families.
Alongside the fancy dress, there will be music, dancing, fun and games throughout the evening, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for everyone attending.
Music will be provided by Bandyt from Love Token Productions.
Caribbean Food and Family Celebration
Each ticket purchased includes complimentary Caribbean snacks, adding another taste of Caribbean culture to the evening.
The event brings together music, food, creativity and learning in a relaxed family setting, giving children an opportunity to engage with Black History Month in a way that is colourful, interactive and memorable.
Families are encouraged to get creative with their costumes and come ready for an evening of music, dancing, fun and games.
