People affected by the Windrush scandal are being invited to share their experiences directly with the Independent Windrush Commissioner at a special listening event in Bristol.
Reverend Clive Foster MBE, the Independent Windrush Commissioner, will hear from individuals and families about the challenges they have faced, the barriers to justice they have experienced and the changes they want to see.
The event will also provide information about entitlement to immigration status and the Windrush Compensation Scheme.
The programme includes a question-and-answer session, a panel discussion, speakers and refreshments.
Those directly affected by the Windrush scandal, members of wider Commonwealth communities, community organisations and anyone interested in justice and inclusion are welcome.
The event runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Admission is free and advance registration is recommended.
