This is an online event targeted at empowering both children and parents through the eyes of a young girl called Tuka.

Tuka is a young girl who resides in Barking and Dagenham and she takes us through the period of Covid 19 lockdown. This fiction story is short but Tuka takes us on a journey of how she fully engaged herself during this challenging time. Tuka displays the importance of reading and how she discovered the successes and struggles of an African American Author.

Our online event will take us through varying discussions all geared towards building resilience and confidence.
