Black Young Entrepreneurs – Thinking Big, Thinking Different

If you’re interested in starting your own business, don’t miss this online workshop hosted by Black Pound Day founder Swiss from So Solid Crew. Aimed at equipping young aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills and tools to start their own businesses, special guests will deliver constructive and practical advice.

Special guests to include Sky Beats, music producer and engineer; J King, visual artist; Livity Plant Based Cuisine, a vegetarian and vegan restaurant run by Jamaican twin sisters; and Embrace Body Skincare, an organic and cruelty-free luxury skin care range.

Black Pound Day is a solution-based approach to support the growth of the UK Black economy. As a direct and peaceful response to the systematic racism that creates un-equality for the Black community in the United Kingdom.

A celebration of the history, culture and influences of the African diaspora on British life. The season will focus on local and international connections, highlighting achievements in science, arts, education and business. Acknowledging the past and looking to the future.
