Fire

Friday 27 August 2021

We bring the Heat, You bring the Energy! Get ready for a scorching carnival Friday, we are bringing you all the flames

With his seamless pairing of Soca music and African rhythms, Wetty has been in high demand for his work across the Caribbean. Over the years he has been called upon by notable Caribbean artistes for his production. Some of his collaborations include; Machael Montano, Bunji Garlin (whom he lists as one of his greatest musical influences), Busy Signal, Fayann Lyons, Olatunji – just to name a few. Wetty has also won several awards; 3 time Riddim of the year recipient and Producer of the Year 2016 at the Saint Vincent AMP awards.

Not only is he a great record producer, but these days Wetty Beatz is looking to add the title performing artiste to his list of qualifications. Since 2016 he has been pursuing being front and center as an artiste and not just a behind the scenes producer, even winning the Vincy Mas Breakout Artiste award 2016. He has a keen interest in the Afrobeats sound and will also continue to do Soca music but will push to bridge the gap between the two.

In 2017, Wetty has had two popular single releases – Woman in General and Rum & Gyal. He has also written songs for artistes like Olatunji – Oh Yay and Skinny Fabulous – Watch Thing. All of Wetty Beatz’s music is available for purchase and streaming on all digital outlets and his videos and collaborations can be seen on his Youtube channel and other social media formats
