Leroy Burgess And Saving Coco

Saturday 13 November 2021

We’re honoured to invite house/disco/boogie royalty Leroy Burgess and Saving Coco band to the Jazz Cafe.

The iconic singer, multi-instrumentalist and producer led a multitude of bands including Black Ivory, Logg and Universal Robot Band, resulting in one of the strongest back catalogues of any artist in his field over a near 40 year career to date. He made an immeasurable impact on the history of dance music through his pivotal work in the NYC underground, pioneering the post-disco boogie sound and laying the foundations for house vocalists to come.

With timeless hits and dancefloor classics now sought after by a whole new generation of DJs and dancers Mr Burgess hits the road once again alongside Saving Coco, his 10-piece band described by the man himself as among “the finest that I’ve ever had the honour of sharing a stage with, in fifty years performing”.
