Music workshop course (for ages10-18) with Beats Lab

NOVEMBER 2 -16:30 GMT

Create unique original music in the styles you love using loops and samples with the relevant Carnival flavours from many cultures (Africa, Caribbean, Latin America and London). Work as a producer with professional musicians and other local young people to achieve a number of polished tracks, using Logic (professional music programming software).

Sign up and register your interest here: https://www.youthfirst.org.uk/carnival-programme

You’ll be encouraged, as a team, to write as well as produce in whatever your preferred musical style is, including Trap, Drill, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, Grime and R&B and record your own vocal/lyrical ideas. Rappers and singers welcome with writing help provided. Not even the sky is your limit!

Be a part of group writing sessions, learn to use production techniques and FX such as autotune and filters, gain opportunities to try out midi instruments and be a part of our (online) carnival sharing events.
