Black British History Month Mixer

Come along to our mixer, in celebration of Black History Month. We are creating a space in which allies, students, activists, staff, and everyone in-between, can come network, socialise, and learn.


This is a free event; however, we will be selling our society t-shirts. All purchases will go towards funding future free society events.

We encourage every attendee to bring a Black History book of their choice; it does not specifically have to be Black British History. This will be a good icebreaker tool. If you do not have any Black History Books, you have the option of buying one (or two, or three!) We are glad to announce that David from ‘The Word’, our local independent bookshop, will be selling their books at our event.

We encourage masks to be worn, however, it is at attendees own discretion.

You DO NOT have to be a history student, Society Member or student at Goldsmiths to come along. You just need a ticket. However, our membership is free and by becoming a member, you will receive monthly updates and early access to all our events. You can become a member here:
