About this Event
This workshop is part of our Sisters Talk Project and explores starting up a business to be more self sufficient and supplement your income. We all have talents, hobbies and passions or might see solutions to problems people face. Each session we tackle a business topic and also use the Lean Start Up Design.
We will cover
- business structures
- writing a business plan
- finance
- marketing
- product/ service design and development
Be part of the discussion and explore how possibly starting a business might advance you.
Sisters Talk are sessions for women of African and African Caribbean heritage in Derby. We are creating a safe space for black women to express themselves and grow together. We do this through running discussion meetings, try out new things for their health and well being and entrepreneurship.
Spaces are limited and depend on completing our quick Welcome Survey, to ensure we are offering a safe space and give priority to Derby women, but other black women from the midlands are also welcome.
This activity is funded by the Community Foundation for Staffordshire from the Tampon Tax Community Fund.
