Purple Rain A celebration of Prince

Monday 10th April 2017 - 7.30pm til 10pm

Purple Rain was founded in autumn 2000 by Philip Bölter (electric guitar, born:1988) and Florian Bölter (bass, born:1985). Katharina C. was singing, Carolina B. played the drums. The setlist included famous songs like “Sweet Home Alabama”, “Born to be wild” and “Heart of Gold”. In 2001 the two girls missed some rehearsals, so the band disbanded.
Florian played together with some new musicians and they decided to take Philip into the band. The name “Purple Rain” was taken again and songs from Deep Purple, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Black Sabbath and Ten Years After were played.
