Black Culture Market – Summer Health & Wellbeing Market

Saturday 15th August – Sunday 16th August 2026

Black Culture Market returns to Brixton for a special summer edition celebrating African and Caribbean culture, Black entrepreneurship and community. Taking place over two days at Lambeth Town Hall, the popular market brings together more than 40 Black-owned businesses alongside a dedicated Health & Wellbeing Market, creating a vibrant weekend of shopping, culture and connection.

Visitors can browse an inspiring selection of independent traders offering fashion, jewellery, books, artwork, natural skincare, gifts, homeware and children’s products, while enjoying delicious food, cakes and refreshments throughout the weekend. The market provides an opportunity to discover unique products, meet talented makers and directly support Black-owned businesses from across London and beyond.

New for this summer edition is the Health & Wellbeing Market, bringing together community organisations, health practitioners and wellbeing services dedicated to supporting healthier lifestyles and stronger communities. The event aims to inspire visitors while providing valuable information, advice and opportunities to engage with organisations making a positive difference across Black communities.

Held in the heart of Brixton, one of Britain’s most important centres of African Caribbean culture, Black Culture Market continues to champion independent enterprise while celebrating creativity, heritage and community. Since its launch, the event has become one of London’s leading platforms for emerging Black-owned businesses, providing opportunities for entrepreneurs to showcase their products and connect with new audiences.

Whether you’re looking for handmade gifts, contemporary fashion, books by Black authors, original artwork, natural beauty products or simply a welcoming community atmosphere, Black Culture Market offers something for everyone. With free entry and a lively programme across the weekend, it promises to be another inspiring celebration of culture, commerce and community in the heart of Brixton.
