Discover and support Black independent publishing at Upper Norwood Library’s Black Indie Author/Illustrator Fair, part of Lambeth Libraries’ Black History Month programme.
The fair provides a platform for independent and self-published Black authors and illustrators to showcase and sell their work. Creators producing books for different audiences are invited to take part.
For visitors, the afternoon offers an opportunity to explore independent books and illustration and discover work beyond the mainstream publishing shelves. For participating authors and illustrators, it provides a chance to bring their publications directly to readers.
The event celebrates the creativity of Black writers and visual storytellers while creating space for independently published work within the borough’s Black History Month celebrations.
