Celebrate 30 years of Pegasus Opera Company with an evening of classical singing, community voices and music at Clapham Library, honouring a company dedicated to breaking barriers and championing diverse talent.
Presented as part of Lambeth Libraries’ Black History Month programme, Legacy & Hope celebrates the enduring vision of Pegasus founder Lloyd Newton and his commitment to “Harmony in Diversity”.
The evening brings together classical singers, the company’s community choir and a live DJ. This combination reflects Pegasus’s commitment to making opera accessible and creating opportunities for different voices to share the stage.
Looking back on three decades of performance while celebrating the company’s future, the event offers audiences an opportunity to experience the music and community spirit at the heart of Pegasus Opera Company.
Whether you are a regular opera-goer or discovering the art form for the first time, this anniversary celebration welcomes audiences to an evening built around the idea of opera for all.
