The Amazing Grace Show

Sunday 27 October

Step into a soulful celebration of music as Spotlight Live presents The Amazing Grace Show. Join us on Sunday, 27th October at Toulouse Lautrec for a stirring journey through the roots and origins of Gospel, Soul, Spirituals, and Blues. Perfectly timed for Black History Month, this show is a tribute to the music that has defined generations.

Expect powerful live performances, divided into two sets, that will take you through the heart and history of these iconic musical genres. From spiritual hymns to the bluesy grooves that shaped modern music, this show promises to uplift and inspire.

The Soundtrack of Black History Gospel music is woven into the fabric of Black history. Its roots trace back to the spirituals sung by enslaved Africans, and its influence can be heard in freedom songs from the Civil Rights Movement. During Black History Month, we celebrate how gospel music not only carried the voices of the oppressed but also fuelled their quest for freedom and justice.
