Bring your Bars Story Tellers

Tuesday 4 October

Tara Munroe in partnership with the Race Equality Centre presents: Bring your Bars Story Tellers

Bring Your Bars Story Tellers is a spoken word/music project exploring the stories of immigration and the different passages and reasons to start a life in the UK. Under the leadership of Boston ‘The Orator’Williams and Inja from Hospitality Records, young people have been working with members of Leicester’s refugee community to gain an understanding of why and how they came into the UK, creating their own interpretation of their personal stories  through music and spoken word.
