The Better Together Showcase is the culmination of an intergenerational programme that connects senior citizens of the Windrush generation, young migrants, and people of Black heritage. Over the summer, participants have taken part in workshops to research, record, and share their migration stories, comparing experiences across generations and cultures.
The final showcase brings these voices to the stage in a celebratory evening at Curve, featuring:
- Presentations and performances developed through the project
- African and Caribbean songs, spoken word, and creative expression
- Awards ceremony honouring participant contributions
- The official launch of the Better Together webpage and project booklet
