Film: She Had A Dream

Tuesday 11th October

Presented by Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage and Phoenix

Dir: Raja Amari, France/Tunisia, French with English subtitles, 90 minutes, 2020

This documentary follows Tunisian activist Ghofrane Binous’s journey into politics and the run-up to the 2019 national elections. It follows
a charismatic young woman who is keen to perpetuate the myth of her own invulnerability in a segregated society where women generally draw the shortest straw and where people have little confidence in their own democracy.
