Working across a range of artistic styles — from music and poetry to spoken word and performance art — these works are poignant, heroic, honest and uncompromising.
This showcase channels the spirit of resilience and the enduring fight for justice, transforming the personal into the political in ways that stir raw emotion. Tackling themes of prejudice, power, identity, and Black Lives Matter, And Still I Rise invites audiences into a powerful evening of creativity that refuses to shy away from difficult truths. It is a celebration of courage and expression, as well as a call to listen, reflect, and rise together.
