Ragamuffin

Friday 6 October – Saturday 7 October 7:30pm

Presented by Amani Napthali, Serendipity and Curve

Ragamuffin, a bad boy with irresistible charm and merciless gangster attitude, is standing trial for crimes against the African community with the audience, as the jury, left to decide his fate. Writer and director Amani Naphtali revisits his 1989 seminal play, set to the backdrop of the Haitian revolution and the inner city uprisings of 1985. The play continues to resonate with this revival featuring contemporary reflections.
