Artist Vidal Montgomery presents and performs work with and from local Afrofuturist artists, alongside featured writers from his Virgo Multiverse Substack.
The programme brings together ideas drawn from science fiction, fantasy, reason, emotion and Black futures. It explores an imagined intergalactic diaspora through different creative disciplines, movement and technology.
Open-source software and lo-fi hardware form part of the approach, connecting digital experimentation with artistic expression.
Presented at Attenborough Arts Centre, the event is included in Leicester’s Black History Month 2026 programme.
