The theme of this year’s Black History Month is “Saluting Our Sisters” so that’s the theme of Our Version Media’s BHM community stories screening.

This will be an evening showcasing the lives of phenomenal women from Southampton’s African, Caribbean and Black British communities. Their stories will be told through three-minute mobile videos produced, filmed and edited by the storytellers themselves.

Each film-maker successfully completed Our Version Media’s Mobile Storytelling course and learned how to make story-rich videos on their mobile phone.

The event starts with a drinks reception in the café bar from 6.30pm, before the screening at 7pm.
