Notting Hill Unplugged: Blues, Boogie and Caribbean Swing with Errol Linton

Thursday, 8 September 2016 from 19:00 to 22:00

“This gifted bluesman is one of London’s greatest undiscovered talents. His voice has a warm unforced timbre that perfectly complements the rasp and wail of his mercurial harmonica playing.”
The Independent

Errol Linton, three times winner of Blues Harmonica Player of the year, is accompanied by Adam Blake (guitar) and Pete Zivokvic (piano) playing the sweetest combination of blues and boogie with a Caribbean swing.

Singer, songwriter, harmonica player and bandleader, Errol carries the legacy of Little Walter, Junior Wells and Sonny Boy Williamson into the twenty first century, moving the genre forward by combining 50′s Chicago blues with gentle Jamaica rhythms.

Accompanied by guitar and piano, his blues is raw and bloody, an urban sound with rural roots. Moving effortlessly from Chicago Shuffle to Kingston Skank without missing a beat, Errol has gained an unrivalled live reputation in the regular London Blues circuit.

Food and Drinks available all night.
