A Memoir Writing Workshop with Author Tarnya Coley

 

The world needs to hear the Windrush NHS untold stories. Tarnya Coley, Award-winning publisher, and memoir writer will share with attendees how to share their stories in a meaningful way. They will be empowered to preserve these stories for generations to come to create awareness so these stories can be shared far and wide. In this workshop, attendees will be introduced to memoir writing as a powerful tool of storytelling.

Tarnya Coley, author of ‘Open Doors’, which is a memoir of her journey, will inspire attendees to learn how to give a voice to those that have impactful stories. We will be exploring the experiences of the Windrush. Attendees will leave the session having taken part in meaningful conversations about how to preserve the untold stories and create a piece of memoir writing. Your story deserves to be told.

  • How to record the untold stories using various techniques
  • The five elements of memoir writing
  • The benefits of memoir writing
