C & Hair (www.caringforhair.org/cancer-and-hair) are hosting a joint event with Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in Lewisham shopping centre on Saturday 23 November, 12.30pm and you’re invited!
“Are you concerned about the rising incidence of cancer and its impact on the community?”
“Do you believe everything that you hear about cancer?”
“Is there an increased risk of cancer with the use of hair dyes and relaxers?”
We will unpack this and more at this event where we will:
Demystify Myths about cancer
Hear about cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment options.
Discuss cancer-related hair loss, with a focus on afro-textured hair
We will be discussing the support available to people with afro-textured hair affected by Cancer and will be sharing lots of useful information.
We hope to see you there!
This event is made possible with the support of Macmillan Cancer Support.
