Sheku Kanneh-Mason and the CBSO play Haydn

Thursday 6th October

Whether it’s your first or fifty-first visit to the concert hall, this concert offers a selection of joyful music sure to put a smile on your face.

Haydn’s Cello Concerto is filled with bright and breezy melodies that you’ll be humming as you head home, while The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra does just what it says on the tin. The CBSO welcome their own Marie-Christine Zupancic as the soloist in Weinberg’s poetic Flute Concerto and it’s always a particularly wonderful occasion when cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason joins the Orchestra on stage! This one promises to be an absolutely marvellous evening of music!
