Book now for Young REP 2020-2021 Autumn Term

Every week children and young people from all over the region come to The REP to take part in weekly workshops and rehearsals. They work with our team of professional theatre-makers to produce a range of theatrical productions and projects at The REP.

Each year at the Young REP is totally different. We stage new plays by exciting writers, important classical texts and devise original stories about contemporary issues. At the heart of everything we do there is one key theme: the voices, lives and opinions of children and young people matter. We have exciting plans for a large-scale Young REP production involving all Young REP companies in summer 2021.

The Young REP is split in to four age groups:

  • Juniors (School Years 3, 4, 5 & 6)
  • Intermediates (School Years 7, 8 & 9)
  • Seniors (School 10, 11, 12 & 13)
  • 18– 25 (For people between the ages of 18 and 25 who have left school or college)

Groups meet at The REP on weeknights and on Saturdays, the cost per term is £75. For further information, please contact the Young REP Team at: youngrep@birmingham-rep.co.uk
