Colourful Me – Positive Black History and Contributions for Children

Saturday 24th June 2017 - 9.45am – 12.15pm

This project gives children a place to learn about positive Black History and contributions and explore them using creativity. The theme for this workshop is Black Kings and Queens in which children will also create a short play and learn an affirmation entitled ‘I am colourful inside and out.’ We aim to encourage equality and allow children to build a positive relationship with their skin.

Please only select one ticket per child that will be attending, as there is a strict maximum of 20 children allowed in this space. Parents are encouraged to leave children for the duration of the workshops – snacks will be provided.

This is a pilot workshop which we will be funding ourselves, however we are raising funds so that we are able to continue delivering workshops with greater impact – particulary throughout the upcoming summer holidays!
