Joshua KYEOT
Joshua KYEOT (pronounced kye-oh-tee) is a British-Ghanaian singer/ songwriter from South London who writes soul songs with a timeless quality and has a tone that is instantly recognisable.
Taking jazz, pop, classical and rock as inspiration, he cites Stevie Wonder, Sisqo, and Michael Jackson among his top influences.
The surname KYEOT that he has adopted is telling onlookers to pay attention: Keep Your Eyes/Ears On This.
Driven by music as a primary means of expression Joshua KYEOT is steadfast in his pursuit of becoming an all-around entertainer.
Joshua hopes to bring something new to the music landscape that can be respected by musos and casual listeners alike.
Matt Henshaw
Melody maestro Matt Henshaw is a music machine. In just 2 years the highly prolific award winning singer-songwriter has released 3 EPs, a remix collection, a demo collection and, most recently, the indie chart success ‘Easier’.
His hard work, honest songwriting and voice that has been compared to some of soul music’s greats has granted him huge respect on the independent music scene and he has developed a following all over the world.
With new music and a bigger sound – ‘Belief Is All’ – sees Henshaw deliver ear catching hooks over a darker sound and with deeper lyrical content.
Evering
Evering is a duo formed by Scottish singer-songwriters Chris Yendell and Dawn Coulshed with the common goal of creating an original sound within an indie / folk genre.
Chris has a raw yet uncompromisingly welcoming sound which showcases his strong vocals and full sounding acoustic guitar riffs. Dawn trained as a classical pianist in Edinburgh before moving to London to pursue her career as a singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
The now London based band thrive on delivering strong harmonies laid over powerful yet warm tones, which are governed by intertwined piano and guitar. The combination of Chris and Dawn’s wide ranging influences shines through in Evering’s material, which is immediately engaging and superbly memorable.
Samuel Nicholson
Samuel is a 23 year old London-based singer/songwriter hailing from Edinburgh. Currently at the mercy of the locals in any open mic night he can find he is most happy with a guitar in his hand and his eyes at the ceiling.
Often defaulting to melancholy he offers an emotive perspective through resonant guitar parts and weathered vocals, throwing finesse out the window for honesty.
Released on the 19th August this year, his debut record entitled ‘If You Be My’ offers a raw introduction to not only his inner conflicts but equally his take on the world that moves before him.
