Caring and Sharing Rochdale brings communities together for an evening of music, food, entertainment and celebration inspired by the 2026 theme, Honouring Our Communities.
Caring and Sharing Rochdale returns to Middleton Arena for its ninth annual Black History Month celebration.
This year’s event takes inspiration from the national Black History Month 2026 theme, Honouring Our Communities, recognising the people whose service, leadership and everyday contributions continue to strengthen the places in which they live and work.
The evening will bring people from Rochdale, Middleton and the wider Greater Manchester area together to celebrate Black history, culture, achievement and community life.
Guests can expect a vibrant and welcoming programme combining music, food, entertainment, cultural contributions and opportunities to connect with other members of the community.
Over the past nine years, Caring and Sharing’s annual celebration has become an important gathering for people from different backgrounds. It offers an opportunity to learn from one another, recognise local achievements and experience the richness and diversity of African and Caribbean heritage.
Whether attending for the first time or returning for another year, everyone is welcome to join the celebration and help honour the history, culture and communities at its heart.
Admission is free, but advance booking is required.
