Black Lives Matter: Celebrating Black History Month 2015

What is Black History Month? Why do we need to celebrate it? Dr Miranda Kauffman will offer a historical perspective on these questions. You will also hear an inspiration talk by Professor Alan Rice on the achievements of Black personalities in Manchester, whilst participating in a thought-provoking discussion of intersectionality with artist Marcia X.
