Discussion Forum – Black Lives Matter

The past year has brought to the front page just the extent to which Black Lives are devalued by the state, with deaths at the hand of the police in America, students ‘missing’ in Mexico to derogatory language and inhuman treatment of Syrian Refugees in Europe.
Black Lives Matter has created an international movement and we will analyse elements of this in preparation for the National Black Lives Mater Conference on Wednesday 28 October at the University of Nottingham.
