Black professionals and industry leaders come together for an honest and practical conversation about leadership, career progression, visibility and opportunity in insurance.
The Insurance Cultural Awareness Network, Kennedys and Tysers invite professionals from across Manchester’s insurance community to a special Black History Month leadership breakfast.
Black Leaders Building the Future of Insurance will explore the experiences, barriers and opportunities that can influence career progression—from entering the industry to moving into management and senior leadership.
Panellists at different stages of their careers will share their professional journeys and discuss the importance of confidence, mentoring, sponsorship and strong professional networks.
The discussion will also examine what employers and industry leaders can do to improve progression, strengthen leadership pipelines and ensure Black talent has access to meaningful opportunities.
Attendees can expect practical advice on building professional visibility, navigating important career decisions and preparing for leadership. There will also be opportunities to meet and connect with other professionals working across the Manchester insurance sector.
The event is suitable for early-career professionals, managers, senior leaders, mentors, sponsors, employee network members, HR and inclusion professionals, and allies committed to supporting Black talent.
