Saluting Our Sisters – The Horsfall x Melanin Markets Pop-Up (A Black History Month Special)

Saturday 21 October

In celebration of Black History Month, 42nd Street, a pioneering Greater Manchester young people’s mental health charity, is proud to present “Saluting Our Sisters,” a special pop-up event in partnership with Melanin Markets.

This event is dedicated to honouring the remarkable achievements, boundless joy, and unwavering resilience of Black sisters in our community. We cordially invite everyone to join us at The Horsfall to not only explore the inspiring work of 42nd Street but also to engage with a diverse array of exceptional food, beverages, wellness, and beauty businesses. The best part? It’s a free event and open to EVERYONE!

This unique gathering provides an opportunity to discover and support eleven Black-owned businesses, all led by inspiring women. The backdrop will feature artwork created by 42nd Streets Young Black Women’s group “Rays,” and Young Black Men’s group “Jet 42,” and “Inspiration Black Women” submissions from the community. The atmosphere will be vibrant, filled with music, 42nd Street staff, young individuals, esteemed guests, and the general public.
