Sugar and Spice 11: Women Make Waves – Free event

Saturday 11th March 2017 - Sunday 12th March 2017 - 11am - 3pm

Join us at LGBT Foundation for the eleventh annual Sugar & Spice festival! Sugar & Spice is Manchester’s annual celebration of International Women’s Day for lesbian and bisexual women. This FREE festival features workshops, networking, discussions, socialising, wellness activities, crafts, food and lots of fun!

Sugar & Spice 11 – Women Make Waves will take place on Sat 11th & Sun 12th March 2017. The theme for this year’s Sugar & Spice is ‘Women Make Waves’, and we’ll be celebrating women making change in their communities through our workshops and panel discussion!

Attended by 200 women in 2016, Sugar & Spice is Manchester’s biggest free event for lesbian and bisexual women. Sugar & Spice is aimed at anyone who self-identifies as a woman some or all of the time and is lesbian, bisexual or questioning their sexual orientation. This includes non-binary or gender-fluid people who want to access a women’s space.

Sugar and Spice is a free festival which you can drop into throughout the weekend, but we do have space limits so please reserve your ticket in advance. Some of the workshops also require pre-booking – these are detailed below. If you don’t book in advance, there may be spaces for some workshops on the day.
