Workshop is part of Thelma Matilda Alves Foundation first Black History Month series
As part of Thelma Matilda Alves Foundation’s Black History Month series ‘Understanding the black self: identity, immigration and healing’. We are delivering a Self-Reflection and Healing workshop in collaboration with Warrior Reminder Founder Ash Alves. Our series will have three seminars/workshops that explore the topics of identity, immigration or healing. We want to create a space for black women to come, listen, learn, share and ask questions.
You are invited to join us to discuss and learn more about self-reflection and healing from writer, author, certified spiritual life coach, and founder of Warrior Reminder Ash Alves.
This self-reflection and healing workshop is an opportunity for you to disconnect externally and reconnect internally. By taking the time out to do some self-reflection, you get a chance to witness your thoughts and let go of anything that’s no longer serving you. The workshop will give you a chance to dig deeper and reclaim your joy.
The Zoom meeting link will be sent to your email address two days before the session.
This event is free but you have the option to leave a donation with your free ticket. Your donations help us to continue to deliver our free group sessions and expand our work over the year.
Thelma Matilda Alves Foundation aims to challenge and dismantle all of the issues that prevent women of African/Caribbean descent from accessing effective mental health.
